Join Montgomery TechLab for the 2026 Defense Accelerator Demo Day on Tuesday, August 25 at 3:00 PM on the DAFITC Expo Floor, where five innovative companies will take the stage to compete for $10,000 in non-dilutive funding.

Over the past eleven weeks, the Montgomery TechLab Defense Accelerator, delivered in partnership with Treble One and OPAL, has equipped founders with the tools, insights, and strategic connections needed to successfully pursue opportunities within the Department of Defense. Through mentorship from acquisition professionals, military stakeholders, defense experts, and industry leaders, each company has refined its technology, strengthened its market strategy, and prepared to present its solution to the defense innovation ecosystem.

During Demo Day, each founder will deliver a five-minute pitch highlighting their technology, its impact on defense and dual-use markets, and its commercialization strategy. A panel of distinguished judges from the defense, government, and innovation communities will evaluate each presentation, ultimately selecting one company to receive $10,000 in non-dilutive funding.

This year’s cohort is developing technologies across cybersecurity, robotics, critical mineral recovery, safety-critical software, and force protection, demonstrating the breadth of innovation emerging from Alabama’s growing defense ecosystem.
