STEM Fest was a huge success! It was a 3-hour free fun-filled 1/2-day Community-based celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) for up 1000 students. Students from the local I-85 community participated in over 50 different hands-on stations, performed experiments, watched demonstrations and met professionals from all different career backgrounds. Participants also explored science in new ways, experienced technology in different applications, engaged in engineering activities, and embraced the fun in Mathematics! Each station is manned by collegiate and professional volunteers from the community.
