HBCU ROTC & Minority Officer Mentoring

Montgomery TechLab in partnership with TechMGM and the AFCEA International IDEA Committee was pleased to host the HBCU ROTC and Minority Officer Mentorship Session. The mentorship session opened with remarks from the DAF/CIO, Ms. Venice Goodwine, and included a panel discussion with Capt Hail Siriuslion Benjudah, Maj Christina Mayo, and Capt Wylie Darden. Dozens of active and former Air Force officers participated in small group breakout sessions. These small group mentorship breakout sessions featured mentors from a wide range of backgrounds and career fields. This event was open to DAFITC attendees, AFROTC, local JROTC, and all military personnel. A huge thanks to cadets from Park Crossing High School and the AFROTC detachments from Alabama State and Tuskegee Universities.
