STEM Fest 2025: A Celebration of Curiosity, Innovation, and Community
On Thursday, August 28, 2025, the Montgomery Multiplex at Cramton Bowl came alive with excitement as more than 1,200 4th and 5th grade students from across the I-85 Region gathered for STEM Fest 2025.
Hosted in partnership with Meta, Montgomery TechLab, TechMGM, and the I-85 STEM Learning Ecosystem, this free, community-driven event brought together students, parents, educators, and industry leaders for a half-day of hands-on discovery, exploration, and fun.
Hands-On Learning in Action
Students rotated through 50+ interactive STEM stations brought by STEM Global Action where they:
- Conducted science experiments
- Built and tested engineering designs
- Explored robotics, coding, and AR/VR technology
- Discovered the creativity in mathematics
- Connected with college mentors and STEM professionals
The atmosphere was buzzing with energy as students embraced new challenges, asked big questions, and discovered how STEM connects to the world around them.
Building the Future Together
Beyond the excitement of the day, STEM Fest 2025 highlighted the power of collaboration between schools, community leaders, corporations, and higher education institutions. By connecting students to resources and role models, the event planted seeds that will grow into the region’s next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders.
